Some people from the Chernobyl area claim that, the night of the disaster, a new deity hatched from the molten core: Svaroh, a newborn god of liquified concrete and holy fire. 

Since, there have been scattered sightings and reports of something trying to escape the ruined reactor.

The image, thought to be its only recorded sighting, was captured in 2006, before the new containment sarcophagus was built. Official sources have denied the reports that it was erected to stop Svaroh from fully emerging.
